What can I say? The guy laid down some amazing tracks. I recognized at least one from his recent Kiss mix although I'm terrible at spotting. This guy deserves all the recognition in the world. If he comes to your town you must go check him out.
Kudos Luke, thanks for a great evening and we certainly look forward to you in Orlando again. Cheers.
A good shower head and my right hand - the two best lovers that I ever had.
hUGH? What the hell you talking about......I said the venue and the crowd and the opening dj was lame.....Luke played decent but no where near as good as he was at the bedrock party @ wmc.....He was probably pretty worn out...I heard that his flight was delayed...he didnt even come on till 1 am..and only had 2 hours to play...no where near enough time to put a proper set together....but he played some good trax..
I actually had a lot of fun..It was kool seeing everyonge unome, russel, ska, kim, supaz, and alos meeting kabir....
HOB has got to be one of the worse venues for Dance music...its great for live music but sux for djs....I really think that opening dj ruins the vibe....for me at least... seems like the crowd is clueless as well. That will be the last time I go there for an electronic show....
^^ LOL ... I remember the conversation we had...He played a much better set @ Soundbar Chicago...

^^^ IMO, Crobar Chicago sucks ass big time. I was in there for about 45 min tops and had to get out of there. The club is small, the sound system is horrible. It's a shame that Crobar even has their name on that place. Nooowhere near like the one in South Beach.
How's the saying go? You can please some of the people some of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can never please chuckc and supaz. Something like that.

whatever.....
That was the second time I have ever heard Luke play live...and it was not nearly as good as the first time ('05 wmc bedrock)....You can say waht you want...but the fact of the matter is it is not that difficult to judge the quality of a show...it seems like alot of MS peeps will hype up any damn set/show is the even if it isnt good....
its pretty obvious to me when someone is on or there not on....I dont beleve luke was feeling the vibe or whatever you wannna call it....it was Decent but come on now....Luke plays way better than what i heard on sunday.....he wasnt bad but it wasnt outta this world either..
If I was up there on the stage and saw that disintrested / half into it, clueless crowd...I wouldnt be that hyped up either....
i got the same exact feeling at HOB when danny h played there to....Just not a good place for a show.

to his defence (not like he needs one), if you people want to know why he may not have "been on", he was held up at customs for 3 hours after playing two nights in mexico(one of which was a steve lawler type episode from a few months back) and got to the orlando 3 hours late, therefore, only having about 45 minutes to "rest" before he had to get to the club and go on. not to mention his set got cut short due to the fact he was held up. so what was meant to be a 3 hour set turned into only having just about 2 hours to play.
though it may not have been as good as the Bedrock show, and I would agree, it was by no means a bad show. He dropped some nasty proggy house with driving bass lines with unrelenting chord changes that defo kept my head turning.
never a disappoinment.. even on a so called "bad night"
