Northern Exposure I :: Who knows a disk that's sounds the same?

Many people knows the album "Northern Exposure I", the best album ever.

    THE best album.

Always when I hear that album, I wonder if there are albums that sounds the
same. A Relaxing cd that can take you into an other world....

    For example this one :

It's relaxing, not a heavy set...

But still it isn't THAT cd...

Anyone who knows a cd of that kind....

    Thanx a lot dudes!

Chris Fortier, Jonathan Lisle, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Jimmy Van M, Sasha; Hernan Cattaneo, Moshic, DerekHowell ........

Well, there's always Northern Exposure II But check out Jon Lisle's first guest mix for Kiss, right up that alley.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

nick warren's back to mine...first disc of the rekjavvavakiaskdjf GU27
jason dunne has some nice relaxed sets up at hybridized.org
that Noah special that was hosted here...some of chloe's bsides sets.
4.2 - zero rendered...first two hours of howells' last arc set

not sure if anyone will agree with me, but i think these go in a similar direction as northern exposure.

trying to think of some CD's from that time period.
i would recommend Sandra Collins - Lost in Time.
maybe some of Christoper Lawrence CD's from about the time

Northern Exposures Expeditions 1 & 2 are probably my favs of that series. I dont think much can compare to those two discs. Its hard to remember what was out back then. For chilled out stuff...all the Back to Mine's are pretty good.
Push the envelope, watch it bend.

you should check out dave seamans old school renaisance CD's .
                \
he had a few, but the two that are a touch more relaxed are the one he did with robert miles(really really great CD) and the 2 he did in the 3 CD pack with ian ossia.

his singapore CD is heavier and what i consider the best hs has ever done.

yeah, not hearing the first one is unforgivable.

i skimmed the last couple, they had nothing on ne1 & west/east coast imo.

One of my favorite chill out mixes is Ned Shepard (half of Digital Witchcraft) - Blueprint on Proton Radio available here: http://www.hybridized.org/sets/?id=148

In terms of feel, I think all s&d releases have that magic.

                              nothing compares!
trying to compare other discs will only end you in dissppointment.

Northern Exposure 1&2 (north south east west) = EDM Bible IMO
                              10/10
