Perhaps one of the most sacriledgious comments I've read in a while. It's a good album, but as much as it wants to be another epic like the Northern Exposure albums (right down to the timeline in the packaging), it doesnt quite achieve that, but I guess if you're a Lisle fan you will say that, just like the majority of James Zabiela fans on the interweb say their boy is perfect.

yeah, ok to say on a par was maybe a little over the top. reminscent is probably a more apt word. my reaction to this CD is because this is now and when NE arrived i wasn't aware of it, i was listening to the likes of PWEI and Teenage Fan Club

And having made a throw away comment like that, I decided to stick the NE CDs on again. yep i was over the top.

the lisle CD is definitely one of the best mix CDs of the past couple of years though.

I am still trying to figure it out......Very complex.

Kinda like trying to undertanding shakespear for the first time.

take 3,4 5 listens to get it. Truly a brialliant album once u get it.

quite a few people have said the same thing, that it takes about 3 listens. not sure if thats a good or a bad thing but it is what it is and im really happy with how it turned out.
