coachella music festival

what do you guys think about this festival... a two day fusion of djs and bands ..my friend went last year (sander was there) he had a good time. this year there's hernan, poser xl (plays good music i just dont believe in what he does), the chem bros, tiga,roni size..as far as bands prodigy, NIN, coldplay
if anything it brings EDM to a crowd that wouldn't normally listen to EDM

junkie xl has some great tunes that he produced/remixed/ whhatever...but he is just turning knobs..i guess he is ahead of his times since that is where djing is going

Being that i grew up next to the polo fields they have it at, I can tell you it's not wise unless you're bring lots of water....At tha time of year it gets around 100+ degrees because it's in the Coachella Valley aka Palm Springs area. You're usually mixed in with the crowd of emo kids, punkers, goths, etc.... and it's usually very packed to the bone....kids on drugs + heat + body heat = horrible time....people told me that sander looked like he was rolling while he was spinning....perhaps he was, or maybe he was just getting heat exhaustion....imo, not worth the money.

Last year I had a blast... Kraftwerk was there! I mean what more can you ask for? I kinda wanted to see Underworld there too, but other then that. Awesome dj's. Got to see Laurent Garnier also... This year, the line up looks decent, but last year I think was better, especially with The Cure and Radiohead headlining. This year should be fun though, NIN should be coool to watch. No pioneers though, besides New Order but I've already seen them, and on top of that their new album is hella weird! Not like their old stuff, its like they went all modern rock on us.... But hey! I'm there no matter what.
