Rosie Romero drops a brand new single on the Avanti imprint, entitled “Pegasus”. The vocals in the original version are by Kyfu.
“Pegasus” is a nice and dark techno banger. State of the art production, rough but still crips beats, an under cooled bass line and a haunting melody; it makes for a perfect track during an hours long out- or indoor set. Kyfu carefully places his vocals in the mix, which gives “Pegasus” even a bit of mystery. The programming of the beats lifts the bass kick up to the extent where it really dominates the production, which is perfect to fill the floor. Rising sweeps here and there finish it all off perfectly, so once this one’s out, every DJ will find it on his list of requests.
Roel Salemink delivers a dub style remix without the vocals and his additional production and programming lead to an even darker, trademark techno track that will work perfectly in the wee small hours of the night when only the die-hard party people still have the stamina to keep on dancing. Rosie Romero’s “Pegasus” brings the T back in techno!
