I would also like to mention that as an artist myself, I fully realize that money is not the driving factor in why dj's do what they do. I am sure artistic expression, happiness, excitement and having an otherwise very interesting and unique life experience is what counts .

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
Couple of years ago, i think mid 2009 or so, someone trusty told me that Luke Fair earn 3000 euros for a 3 to 4 hours mix.. Not bad at all if you consider 2 to 3 shows per week
I assume legends like Sasha, Warren, Diggers or Hernan earns more than this
I reckon fees have gone down considerably in the last 10 years. I remember going to Gatecrasher for Oakenfold back in 1999 the venue was rammed and there where still about 2,000 people outside. I remember similar scenes outside Turnmills, Cream Gods Kitchen, Renaissance etc. I haven't seen anything like that since 2001
