things to check out.
1. random wharehouse parties happen every night in new san juan.
2. some good clubs. head over to the ritz for great tables and a great club
3. take a boat cruise over to palomeno. its this beautiful little island that is half owned by a resort and half abandoned. go to the abandoned side, think if the movie the beach..
4. head on up to el juncke. (jungle) you could go with a tour, or do it solo, DONT GET LOST. ppl get lost in the jungle for weeks on end. (im dead serious)
5. the mall in old san juan in HUGE(if its rainy)
6. just head over to the beach. ask around the hotel for weed. everyone has it.

If you can take the ferry over to Culebra, about 45 minutes. It is the most beautifyl secluded island unknown to tourists. You will love it. Very romantic and very beautifulComment

if you want to do some sight seeing, go to Aricebo...
there's also El Yunque rainforest, go check out the Conquistador Wyndham Resort....it's a 5 diamond resort (I think one of only 2 in the Carribean) with beautiful scenery...if you want to get on their beach, you need to take a ferry to the island...there you can snorkel to another smaller island and watch the colorful fish and ass loads of lobsters...obviously for nightlife, San Juan is the place...I don't remember the name of the place but there is a lounge/bar with a swimming pool inside, couches on the right hand side, bar is on the left with hot bartenders...the hottest has a tattoo of a Coqui (a lizard indigenous to only P.R.) on her shoulder blade...yowza yowza....the night I went there was a dj spinning deep house...there are also stairs you can take from inside this lounge if you wanna get to the theater....most of the clubs play a style called Regeton (sic), which is a mix of Reggae and Spanish Rap...I couldn't stand it but you never know...I had a hard time finding clubs that play decent house....I think an area close to San Juan called Carolina has some house clubs....have a good time....Glenn Okada (www.glennokada.com)
