I just picked up my first mp3 player, yes I'm a slow adopter. It's an iRiver H10, nice little piece of shit. It syncs through Win Media Player 10. From what I can tell the device is like the ipod where it sorts by artist, genre, album, title and playlist.
Anyway, I was looking for some input on how you guys organize your sets and mixes. Firstly, is there anyway to index a mp3? I used cue sheets to burn cds, can you do the same with an mp3? If so, what do you suggest for edit the mp3 tag? Should I make the mix an album and then have the various tracks? I like being able to cue through a long mix and get to the middle of it, or to be able to skip a track or two if I want.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
(PS- I'm sure this has been discussed a million times, but when I did a search it returned basically every topic in [ms] and I didn't fell like sifting through 1100+ threads)
