From the way he made a big deal about his contribution you would have thought he ripped & uploaded them himself, instead of just doing some copy and paste.
These days everyone can get music directly from the artists by subscribing to them though soundcloud and social network sites like facebook and myspace. As a result its makes forums become more and more obsolete.
If you look at this section there a 15 out of 30 threads on the first page that have no replies, if you look on the podcast forum there are 17 out of 30 threads with no replies. Not to mention the double and even triple postings of the same sets.
Going back a few years it was the Sasha, Digweed, Hernan, Garcia etc. sets that generated the interest. Now most people have got up to date with them, with (radio shows aside) few fresh sets emerging. Hence the reduction of interest. Plus [ms] did get some exclusives from Grant in Aus.
The live sets are fewer (no doubt the DJ's make it a condition that nothing is recorded/leaked and this is repected more) + most have chosen the radio show/podcast route.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
Everyone uploading on these sites is breaking the law as they are not the owner of the material being uploaded, whether they make any money or not.
true but paying out cash to the uploader surely is a bit wrong
anyway itunes is where its all @ now, has been for a while... most of the stuff u can get here ( well the stuff i download ) u can get on itunes
something needs to be done about this, its not just ruining this forum but also messing just about every other place up, guetta sets triple posted etc etc, it seems to be all the more popular dj's that get the most uploads, over @ our the surge of nothing but fresh trance sets has screwed the place up... guys are splitting a 2 hour show into 2 separate downloads deliberately, encoding 128 to 320 etc etc

Well I have more respect for someone who copies and pastes from the artist soundcloud page, than someone who rips and uploads . At least it is artist approved.

Copying and pasting on this site is no longer a simple matter I miss Jula and Gatz, The first may have been before my time.
