I work for a amateur sport related company, and I was just told an ancedote yesterday about a hermaphrodite who has tried to play in some of our womens events.
Turns out when she was born, her father was very strick and insisted the doctors make her a boy and forced her to live that way, insisting that he would disown her if she defied him. She actually waited till adulthood, and until her father died to get another operation to become a woman.
It's funny to make jokes about, but what a sad, confusing, twisted hand of cards to be dealt in life.
