Guys and Gals, I have to hurry/leaving for short-term vacations.
I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
I had the silver ones for several years until the cable connector gave out. Then, I found the black editions online. Perfect (for me anyway) regarding sound response & comfort.
I bought the Technics dj1200,
a couple a weeks ago, very comfortable
and a really good quality sound.
I had a pair of these for the longest time - loved the bass on it, and the mid-ranges were really good too. When they started to get worn, I wore them to the gym most of the time (this was before noise cancelling tech was so ubiquitous with headphones like they are now) and rode them into the ground (the screws rusted and the padding started to flake and tear - sweat is apparently pretty bad for these - go figure).
I replaced them shortly after with the Panasonic RP-DH1250-S Technics Pro DJ Headphones, and they were my favorite pair for the longest time.
I would love to get another pair sometime down the line, but I'm not willing to spend about $200.00 here to buy one.
Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.
More than six months later - he's still pissed LOL - check the last visitor - guess who the last visitor is on my profile page.
I'd love to get a pair of Bose like k posted. They are one of the best utility headphones I would imagine, unless other brands have caught up. They ain't cheap but I guess there are much more expensive ones too.
it IS incredible isn't it??
STILL pumpin out great set after great set...never cheesed out, never sold out, never lost his touch..
Simply does not get any better than Hernan
that is what i am thinking of getting.. the 1964 A6. i already have a pair of Shure 215SE's which are fine but i just want a better kick, clearer sound. was looking at Westones first (mayan_guy recommendation) but figured if you are going to lay down $400-500, might as well do double that and get the ideal, just dont lose them i think of them more as an investment than a goods purchase.

^^ Grado !!
agree! in my opinion, as far as over the ear headphones in the house, nothing beats the Grado sound (with an amp/dac of course).. nothing comes close.
i got these as a gift and i must say how impressed that i am, I've been using the sennheiser HD25's an these have replaced them as my goto headphones, enjoy the music
I bought a pair of Grado earphones because I read in an older post that you recommended them, so I checked info in the web and ordered a pair. I have to say that I really love them and canīt stop using them (I also have Sony monitor earphones, Sennheiser, Shure in-ear and AKG, bur Gradoīs are the best).
The more economic models are not so pretty and they seem weak in their construction, but they sound really great. The better models are quite expensive btw, but really beautiful. Iīll upgrade them soon! I bought the lowest model SR-60, and sound awesome.

could always do what i did.. mod them
my pair of Grado Alessandro MS1i's with rosewood cups, coffee leather headband, Grado 'L' cusions. i actually loved and preferred this sound so much, i sold my 500e's that i had previous to these.
The rose wood looks beautiful. I would've picked a cream leather band to complement it.

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
