i know web search engines have bots that read pages to index them , but shouldn't that be a sec or 2 then they are out...this one seems to be hanging out.

no they sit and spider pages and pages and pages of data.... whatever they can crawl into basically..... and you'll also see Inktomi / Looksmart / Googlebot come on there
