After our first event at the new Shoreditch hot spot, Basing House, being such a success and our line up of top quality DJs raising the bar of musical expectations, we are proud to announce the return of Use Your Loaf on Saturday 9th July.

We could not be any more excited to welcome with open arms....

    Tim Sheridan (Veryverywrongindeed)

The Veryverywrongindeed man himself, Tim Sheridan has a DJ career spanning 24 years, musically always a few steps further forward than any other. From founder of KISS FM in the north to being the man who made Ministry cool again with his night Nastydirtysexmusic and best-selling compilation of the same name. He was playing minimal house and techno in Ibiza when 99% of DJs were playing bongo dominant beats! From a long background of warehouses, free beach parties in Ibiza, raves at DC10 and across Europe and the UK, Veryverywrongindeed and its record label Veryverywrongindeed Recordings are the end result of years of blood and sweat from of one of the UK's underground heroes, Mr Sheridan. To understand the concept of the label, we could only ask the the man himself directly and this was his response: "I called my last phase "Nastydirtysexmusic" simply to knock up an imaginary genre specifically to avoid being pigeonholed. It kind of worked although those who have tried to copy it since have got it dead wrong! Same goes for "Veryverywrongindeed". It does what it says on the tin. I could have gone for 'Allmyfavouritetunesthatyourenotsupposedtoplay
inibiza' or something along those lines but you have to be descriptive AND snappy".

In 2011, VVWI will be present mainly on the London and Ibiza clubbing scenes as well as making an appearance at this years Glade festival. We strongly anticipate the return of these incredibly wrong doings and can not wait for Tim to show us what he can do at Loafs second Basing House appearance on Saturday 9th July!

    Dave James (FREQ!/Renaissance)

All the way from Derby, we welcome Dave James. Back in 2009 Dave was featured as ‘One To Watch’ in iDJ Magazine being described as "someone you will be hearing a lot more of very soon" and buy has he lived up to this expectation! No stranger to the magazine, he has also won the iDJ prestigious ‘Raw Talent’ competition and also featured in the top 3 of the DJ Mag Pick 'n' Mix feature. Not just a DJ but also a producer and remixer, his hard work in the studio paid off when he was announced winner of the ‘We Love...Space Sundays ’ remix competition with his remix of Yousef ‘Africa’ picked by the man himself as the winner. The remix was featured on the end of summer 'We Love' compilation mix and went on to be released on global brand Renaissance. His club night Freq! has now been running for 19 months and has bought a whole host of established and upcoming talent from the house/techno scene to Derby. It’s picked up top night placings in the midlands in all major industry magazines and is truly putting Derby back on the clubbing radar attracting interest from far & wide with every event that’s goes by. This is a man of many talents and we can't wait to see him in action behind the decks. Roll on July...

    Yiannis Balkizas (Use Your Loaf)

Need we introduce you to Yiannis; the one who has been there from the start and whom the concept of Loaf is built around. Yiannis' musical preferences are those that we glorify. Deep house, tech house and techno are what we love and promote. On the night be sure he will provide us with tune after tune, playing everything you want to hear and showcasing his own production to get you grooving on the dance floor.

Low & Murphy (Use Your Loaf)

This DJing duo (aka Gareth Thurlow and Chris Murphy) have graced the decks before during Loaf party time. With flawless back to back action, these boys are set to be Use Your Loaf regulars throughout 2011 and beyond. Their style is perfectly suited to the Loaf music policy and we are sure they will get the party started just right!

Look out for the flyer team before the day and on the night dishing out wristbands for discounted entry of just £5! They will be all over Shoreditch, you won't be able to miss them!
