superstar dj keoki, never liked him personally but in the day i thought after a few releases he was gonna be big ( commercial wise ) then nothing LOL
like a 90's guetta
I agree about Keoki, he did have the 1 cd that was great....I forget the name... then Feather mentioned Ashley Casselle, and that's a great example as well.. I had 1 of his albums that was great, then none of his mixes were good.
a powerful and insane mothership that occasionally comes commanded by the real ones .. then suck us and makes us appear in the most magical of all lands

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
^^^ I have to disagree. I saw Max Graham in Houston a couple years ago and he totally fuckin rocked!!! I first saw him in 2001 and he was good then.kinda didnt keep track for a couple years, then put out a mix cd "Cycles" on Armin Van Burren's label, so i picked it up. Its pretty damn good and then i went to the show i mentioned in Houston and had a great time. He truly is an underrated DJ and producer.
he chose a new career path - he didnt go shit - everything he put out was great IMO - so doesn't count.
SK however........
I saw Steve Gerrard a few years ago in Glasgow and he was one of the best dj's i had seen live. Very under-rated, captured the progressive sounds perfectly back then.

Again saw Max Graham a few years ago and he was excellant. Created a great atmosphere with the tracks he was playing.that night.
His "Transport" double CD from 2001 was superb aswell back then.
Paolo had some great sets on his proton show...I'm still trying to find copies of Music is Fireworks and Music is Freedom - even he doesn't have them
He also did a great B2B 3 hour set with Fancuilli or however you spell it
I have 'Music is Freedom' somewhere. He pressed up about 100 copies or so and put a shout out on the GU board - anyone who replied got one free of charge, first come first served. Fantastic amount of work involved on his part; and it obviously paid off as he is dj'ing all over the world now.
