As Many of you know, our Beloved electronic community lost two tremendous artists recently
arryl Pandy and Kenny Hawkes. We thought it only appropriate to do some kind of Tribute showcasing these two influential Producers and their Musical Legacy they left for us. Please join us as we welcome Rose Neri (Pnut) and her Tribute Mix for NOICE!.. thank you Rose…..PNut started DJ'ing and producing electronic music after years of drumming along to electronic musicians with recent inspiration by Miike Snow and Animal Collective. PNut found a place for her drumming skills in electronic music after seeing a local Denver band (now L.A. based) Josephine and the Mousepeople pull together just this combo in their live performances. Shortly after, a long-time musician friend, Jessy Chick, pianist and singer came to stay with her and inspired PNut to pursue her dream and to stop at nothing to make it a reality. It all came together when the two saw Dirtybird's J. Phlip at Phlip the Bird in Denver in April 2010.PNut's first tunes came from the jungle of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica where she stayed for 2 weeks to visit Jessy and learn how to make music with Native Instrument's Maschine. Now she lives in Denver and DJ's at bars like Bar Standard, City Hall and Benders playing tech house, jungle and deep house.Recently, she has been working up to getting her live set-up completed so she can fly back down to drum live and DJ in the jungle where it all started.Tracklist:01.
