PHOTOSHOP Help!!

Ok so I thought I knew photoshop pretty damn good but I can't seem to find out the answer to this problem.

I just bought a new laptop and it seems that this problem only happens with this laptop. When I'm using the type tool, and hit the enter key it submits the text instead of going to a new line... it's kinda like hitting the ok button when you're happy with the text.

Why is it doing this and is there a way to fix it? I've searched google and the adobe forums!

your control key is stuck.

you could always try <shift + enter> and see if that works.

ok, i'm also thinking it could be the numeric keypad enter versus the carriage return enter.

if you haven't got a carriage return enter (which i find hard to believe) unlucky bro.

It seems that restarting my computer and re-opening the same file solves the problem...

I won't try and understand it, I'll just accept it...? :?

you probably enabled sticky keys then... hate that shit.

Trash your photoshop preferences in the library and see it that helps...

you could always try a legit version.

mine works good, i have version 6 and no problem with it, is the cs version? or 7? that is the same.......i think.....
