ok, if anyone has any suggestions or input, i would certainly appreciate the help....
im planning on having a couple of friends come and dj with me at my gig in new haven this wknd..
we are going to incorporate ableton live into our set by using my laptop, an external soundcard, and one of those little mixer/controller things (i have no clue what brand).
im gonna run the audio from the laptop thru an extra channel in my mixer. i am under the impression that i can use the midi from my efx500 to link the beats to live...this is where im a bit confused.
is there an easy way to just set a bunch of loops into live and have them automatically beatmatched to the records that we are playing - all live in real time???
ive dug up some docs off the ableton website (tricks to djing with ableton and midi sequencing)....are there any other things that i can ck out to figure all this out??
also, as i read this info i cant figure out if there is a way that you can adjust the pitch after you load a loop and trigger it over yuor sets...any ideas?
