Did anyone else notice that this is an unofficial remake of Risky Business (one of my all time favorites)? They changed enough that it wasn't the exact same movie, but there were so many little things they borrowed, it sort of bugged me.
Judged on its own merits, it was better than I expected. Elisha Cuthbert is luscious to behold, and overall the kids aren't too annoying so as to make the movie unwatchable. I think the plot gets a little convoluted when they go chasing her to Vegas and so on, the movie was its strongest when they were developing the initial stages of their relationship (great scene when he kisses her at the party, but they redeemed themselves with the prom/sex ed video.
Overall it is a harmless bit of escapism, 3/5
