STEVE RACHMAD
Taking into account his 25 year career, Steve Rachmad is known by everyone by now. His discography counts more than 100 releases, and we all heard him some time tearing the roof apart. He can be, justified, stamped as a real techno legend, who can count on fans in every corner of the world, but also has numberless colleague artists which he inspired with his music.
In the beginning days of his career, he was considered as a European answer to the classic sound coming from Detroit after his debut album "Secret life of machines" which came out in the early days of 100% Pure label. The album was a milestone of the techno scene of that time. Labels like Tresor, Fragile, M-Plant and Sino followed, and he soon established his spot at the Belgian Music Man institute. He developed a typical pumping and hypnotic production style with records as Organa, Chios and Virton, one by one big time classics which are still, more than 10 years later often played in clubs and festivals.
Steve Rachmad as a DJ built up a lot of experience too. His technique is of an unprecedented class (he was one of the first DJs who played with the 3rd deck into perfection), but he is above all a DJ who time after time knows how to bring the public on a hypnotising trip, thanks to the intelligent way of programming music during his sets. During his career, he explored techno into extents; with the same ease he also conquers the areas between deephouse, 1980's synthesiser music and Drexciya-inspired electro as he explores the borders of the darker and more raw sound with tempo above 130 beats per minute.

XHIN
Xhin (pronounced as "sheen") has been crafting ominous cuts of cutting-edge electronic music since 1997. He independently released "Xycle", a self-promotional ep that made the industry to stand up to take notice, in early 2003. He then followed with his debut album, "Supersonicstate" the following year.
In 2006, his talent has been discovered by a German independent record label Meerestief. With a remix for Five Green Circle's track entitled Ronan's BBQ has created a storm over Europe, fully supported and charted by heavy weights from the world of EDM, as well as releasing and remixing for Nike, Nokia ,Woods & Woods appearing as a special guest tutor for Ableton Live at Red Bull Music Academy.
In 2009, Xhin joined Berlin's new techno label, Stroboscopic Artefacts to release his dark, intense and experimental sounds. From the results of his new releases for the label and other tracks signed up to Chris Leibing's CLR, he has done it again. Heavy rotation from the big boys like Speedy J, Luke Slater, Ben Klock and many more.

SAFEWORD
Comprised of San Francisco's Clint Stewart and Marc Smith, Safeword is the result of a decade's long friendship and a mutual love for music. Stewart and Smith have worked side by side for years so the eventual pairing was inevitable. "When Clint sent me his parts to our first track I knew we had something special." says Smith. "From then on everything just fell into place." With a foundation laid down in thick heavy drums, lush melodies and atmospherics make every cut a pulse thumping cerebral campaign, Safeword tracks leave an indelible mark on the listener. "We are just now beginning to see what could flourish here, and the sounds we can create with this dynamic" says Stewart. Following the success of their debut EP on Sebrok and Marc Mirior's own imprint, Paso Music Safeword has more in store for 2011, including a release on Berlin's Poker Flat.
