Naaaaahhh...Mike Storey actually sounds very ok. Simple, real...and since it's your own name, you have a binding with it.

    Or: Mad Mike Storey.

Yeah man, Mike Storey sounds just fine. It?s short and has a nice sound, because of the "k" and the "st". Besides, it?s easy to remember.

And think about the wordplay in the magazine headlines...stuff like "Storeyteller" or whatever...

Really, I have a DJ friend whose real name is Juan Del Salto...I always told him that his name was great as stage name, but he decided to call himself DJ Dusk. He?s lucky cuz his records are played by Chus & Ceballos, Steve Lawler, etc., but now there?s a guy called Dousk and a hip-hop DJ called exactly DJ Dusk, so he?d be better off if he had listened to my advice.

I've always thought DJs that use their real names (well, as real as we know) were cooler than those with names like DJ Assface or DJ Block Rocker. Look at all the famous DJs that go by what they lead us to believe is their real name...it's a pretty extensive and star studded list.
