People are getting their asses handed to them in this...that is good, it sounds like the tabloids have been out of control in the UK for a while. Who knows if this will change much in the long run though.

We'll see eh? If events of the last couple of weeks don't change anything then nothing can.
This is coming out in the UK right now but don't forget these same fuckers own a good chunk of US media too so i'd say it's a long way from being done yet. -

Seem's the shit's gettin' real the last couple of days. The head of Scotland Yard and also a 2nd person have resigned, plus Murdoch and the redhead are testifying tomorrow in front of Parliment. Maybe Murdoch will feel the squeeze for all those years of his agenda being pushed behind the scenes...hopefully some karma might bite his ass.Comment

The powers that may be...
But doesn't this shit happen everywhere?
Pretty sure Murdoch owns something in each continent of the world. And his policies goes without saying.
Really is a pity about the death. Shits fucked up.
Another interesting twist this story has is the inclusion of David Cameron. who now resides in 10 Downing Street, who formally hired Andy Coulson (former News of the World editor). And now the commissioner of Metro Police now resigns.
The commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Paul Stephenson, used his resignation speech to turn on the Prime Minister , saying Mr Cameron was at risk of being compromised by his closeness to the former News of the World editor Andy Coulson.
Following Mr Stephenson's departure, his assistant commissioner, John Yates, who was in charge of the heavily criticised 2009 review into the original phone-hacking investigation, stood down yesterday.
Caught this in the weekend and was a really good story on this:

I've been following this story very closely over the last 3 weeks. (And for about 3 years previous) And even I couldn't summarise how this story keeps unfolding. It's been truly mental.Comment

Re: Newscorp phone hacking fallout
If this finally means the downfall of the hussy-ridden "controlled opposition" media outlet, it can only be a good thing. The remainder of the zombie public can officially shut off their TVs and not be foolishly lead along any longer (aside from the few who are "leaning forward" over @ MSNBC as they perch precariously over the precipice and try to give us all one final shove).Comment
