I love newegg because even if they don't have the best deals at all times, they have the best customer service and they take back things outside 30 days, offer free return shipping if you ask and are generally more customer friendly than most sites.
If savings is all you want, then cross shop buy.com and amazon.com.
There are site/deal-aggregation websites out there (shopping.yahoo.com / google's shopper / pricegrabber / nextag.com etc.) they offer deals from just about any online vendor and that is dangerous. Be very careful who / where you shop from. Sometimes saving that extra penny may end up costing you your pants. Which is why between amazon and newegg, most of my shopping is taken care of.
it also depends on what kind of products you're looking to buy. If it's a TV or a Music System for a room, then don't buy that online, head out to a local electronics store because you have the flexibility to interact with it a little more than you would online. It also gives you the freedom to return your stuff should it come to it (if stores in your area give you that freedom) whereas packing up a flat panel for return shipping is much more of a hassle (to me at least).

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
