Fixate Records presents Jakal - For You EP. Featuring tracks For You & For You (Sonikross Mix).
Jakal (aka Michael McLeod) is the founder of Fixate Records and runs the label with colleague and friend Kris Meja with whom his first release "Kreuzberg EP" was a collaboration with aswell as the second "Seductive Charmer". They both went on to do a remix for Vandal on Benefit Recordings aswell as granting Vandals request to re-release "Kreuzberg EP" on Benefit Recordings. For You is the first solo EP from Jakal and was co-produced with Ryan Davidson. The next release from Jakal will be a remix of Swallens track "Hit The Floor".
Sonikross AKA Nigel Ross first appeared on the dance music with his debut single, a collaboration with Michel Spiegel, (Nuw Idol, WellWicked Records) "Sonikross - Walking With Dreamz", got major aclaim with a No.1 from John 00 Fleming in DJ magazine and pride of place as the last tune on the "Christopher Lawrence, Around The World" compilation! In 2004, he and DJ friend John Hutchison(Johnny Frenetic) formed the live house band Tokyoblu. The next chapter has only just begun! With numerous remixes due for release and new original material under way there's big things in store from Sonikross!
