    Nic Fancuilli owes Toronto

On Sunday Feb 27th, I along with many of Nic's fans packed Toronto's Comfort Zone for what we thought was going to be a fun filled Sunday afternoon of listening to the wicked beats that Fancuilli is known for. But to our disappointment he was a no show. Apparently he didn't make his flight out of Washington from his gig the night before. Although the Toronto residents still did an amazing job throwing down pounding beats that the Zone is known for, the fans where disappointed. I saw people tearing down his posters that were around the club as a sign of this. I hope Nic knows that he missed what would have been a great gig, so when is he coming back to make it up to us?

Yea I heard about this last night from a few of my friends who went to the Zone: I was so pissed that I had to work...ALMOST requested the day off, but I'm so glad I didn't cause I would've been seriously pissed if I went to the Zone, only to find out that he's not there and I missed out on $130 from work.

What were the prices for entry at the Zone that day?

Back in the day when I was into trance, Ferry Corsten cancelled Toronto 3 times.

Dave Clarke has cancelled a few times now, and many people that I know hate him because of it now.

honestly, it was a rediculous booking regardless.

                  >> the venue is not condusive to one on the hottest djs in house music (i know, this is a matter of opinion).

                  >> the 12 o'clock start time was completely unreasonable considering he was in washington the night before.

                  >> and there was no flexibility in nic's schedule as he was off to asia sunday evening.

sometimes booking agents and promoters don't see anything past the almighty dollar.

very much looking forward to nic's return to toronto

very true that the Zone isn't a place for a big dj, I guess thats why I have never seen any there and why I was so surprised when I heard he would be there

Well what do you expect? The Zone, and every other major club, is getting some serious competition from Boa. Especially after Glasgow left the Zone, they had to respond somehow.

If the guy knew he might have a miss in scheduling he should have had his manager make the proper fixes for it. No way would I go and play that many gigs in that many days. I gotta have a day off here or there. I feel a bit sorry for the guy if he has to go and play out that much. It's cool to travel and the money is probably good and all that, but damn that's a lot of clubs and not much sunlight.
