War is different. I don't think that one can actually trust the media and or the soldiers to a certain extent. The same shit was going on in Vietnam (I don't think we should have been there). Kids were given hand grenades to give to a GI. Then of course the kid would do it. We don't know how many of these "civilians" are regular people running around a battle zone with an AK-47. US troops, British troops, German troops, fuck any civilized country and their troops aren't trained to murder unarmed civilians. Watch 'Rules of Engagement'. I know it is a Hollywood production but you can't honestly tell me that shit doesn't happen. I have a very hard time believing any report that American or any countries troops openly and willingly fired upon unarmed civilians. War sucks, people die, civilians die. Shit how many civilians died in WWII? Or WWI? No one gives a shit because everyone understood that then and most everyone agreed with trying to obliterate each other.
