It feels like its been a while since i've done an original mix but taking cues from the set from shit show and the tough to find but excellent music coming out now, i've put together something that sounds a bit different from what i've done but shows a bit of where i'm going.And while the mercuryserver mix really plays off of my love of my prog roots, i think a similar style of long mixing with lots ambience can still be done with some less obvious tracks.In keeping with my studio mixes as opposed to the live sets, this includes a fair amount of home listening tracks rather than dancefloor stuff, but still manages to build and keep the groove.If we all just played dancefloor tunes all the time, tons of great music would go unheard.So enjoy.
