    I use the extensions for FF and Chrome, haven't had much issue clipping to the Evernote app to be honest.

        I used it for a few mins on my windows box and it seemed to work a bit different there. I can't remember exactly I need to do it again, but I think it works like you describe on windows moreso than mac which could be it.

            Evernote just released an extension for Chrome called Evernote Clearly. Even though it does what Instapaper does, it offers 'themes' that're either more pleasant or comfortable on the eyes, and lets you save to Evernote of course.
