Prey offers a decade of experience in device tracking and security tools to protect laptop, phones, and tablets across multiple OS.
Prey lets you keep track of your phone or laptop at all times, and will help you find it if it ever gets lost or stolen. It's lightweight, open source software, and free for anyone to use. And it just works.
Re: Prey - Opensource anti theft for Mac, PC, Android

They don't make em like they used to. You must still get a good couple of weeks of battery life on that thing?
i,m actually a little bit more update than that m8, Sony Ericsson K880i, yea i know a dinosaur but to be perfectly honest i,ve never really been a fan of mobile phones anyway, i like something i can fit my fingers on if u know what i mean
thought about a smart phone not so long ago after seeing my m8's iphone 4 but to be honest i really grudge paying £300 + for something i would really only use on my home wifi and also make the odd phone call... there really is no point in me updating it @ this point in time

I saw my friend using the Galaxy S II and was pretty impressed? Big bright screen, light, slim ... it does kinda feel plasticky and doesn't have the heft of an iPhone ...

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

I agree about the plasticky feel but as soon as I bought it I put a cover on it...so i don't really get that...but IMO apple sucks ass...The fact that you can play around with an android phone indefinitely and that you can do fuck all with the Iphone means that I will never pay more to have an inferior piece of hardware (because it is inferior) and software (again locked into steve jobs power trip)
Best thing about the phone is the screen IMO...absolutely glorious...and its fast...definitely more so than all the competition...not sure about the new HTC...haven't really had a chance to examine it closely.
