He just cancelled his gig tonight in Windsor. It is a sell out crowd and he decided at 8 that he can't make it. It is such a generic message he sent out.

A special message from Danny Howells and some exciting news.
Due to a medical problem that required immediate treatment, I'm sorry that I won't be able to make my gig tonight at the Boom Boom Room. I'm extremely upset about this as I was so looking forward to coming back to see you all again. I truly hope I can get back over there to make it up to you as soon as possible. Have fun tonight with Daniel Dubb. He’s a dear friend and incredible rising star who’s not to be missed.

What an idiot. I will never try to see him again. He used to be in my top 5, now bottom 5. This reminds me of Sasha not coming to Toronto and begging forgiveness after everyone already spent their money. Even Tiesto showed up to Windsor, and Lawler, and Zabiela, and Burridge.

He did the same thing twice in Budapest. Last time in 2006 there was a huge party called Renaissance Winterfest, and he didn't show up because he forgot to wake up and missed the plane from Dubai. There were like 5-6000 people at the event.
However a few months later he allegedly played for free, and said sorry to the public.

Fuck me half the British work force are to fucking lazy so call in saying they have sickness and diarrhea when there is fuck all wrong with them, so I can excuse someone a no show. You're lucky you got a response at all. I can remember travelling to see Dave Seaman, Nic Fanciulli, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, Lee Burridge and Nick Warren on various occasions where they have not shown. On a few occasions I have been left to wonder if they where actually booked in the first place. On most occasions we never even got told they weren't playing until we had paid our entrance fee and got inside the venue.

The Nic Fanciulli & Paul Oakenfold no show was the worst as I spent a considerable amount of money on flights accommodation etc. all for nothing.

Sasha best mate Sparrow was another cunt he had Dave Seaman billed to play at his night Scream in Bristol. We got there paid our money had a few drinks at the bar before we found out Dave wasn't playing. The had no set times up nothing to say he wasn't playing, it was only because I asked we found out. If we had know before we had a few drinks I would have jumped in the car and gone to see Nick Warren at Turnmills in London.

I can only remember one Danny Howells no show. He was booked to play Elements in London but he was also playing Renaissance in London the same night. Only someone fucked up and Renaissance had an exclusive booking for that night and understanably didn't want Howells playing a similar venue 3 miles down the road. So couldn't play the Elements gig. It was a genuine mistake and Howells agreed to play Elements the following month with an extended set. These things happen and Howells conduct is a lot better than many other DJ's I can mention.
