Nice to see Hernan playing music from one of THE coolest labels out there (Planet E Communications) along with all the unreleased music, and newer labels like Outside The Box
Working on the release info etc. as I type

Almost ten years have passed since Mariano Marcial Pérez entered to the music scene under the artistic name of Deep Mariano.
After playing in most of the best clubs in his hometown (Rosario – Argentina) he started to show up in the Buenos Aires electronic music scene and slowly but firmly gained recognition. By that time, he had been writing and producing music. His EP "2002" caught John Digweed's attention of, who played it on his own radio show "Transitions". His work has also the support of top world DJs like Hernán Cattáneo, Sasha and Laurent Garnier. He has as well remixed top artists like Switch (2) (M.I.A's producers), Pole Folder, Jeff Bennett.
His music has been released by underground and major labels like Snejl, Frisky Records and Sony Music Entertainment among others. His last remarkable piece is his remix of "Loba", one of the songs of Shakira's new album. After his first performance at Creamfields Bs. As in 2005 his career started to grow. The festival definitely meant a step forward in his career, implying performances in some of the world's top clubs like WOMB (Tokyo – Japan), WARUNG (Brazil), Pachá (Buenos Aires) or State (Buenos Aires), appearances in John Digweed's radio show "Transitions" and in DJ Magazine as "Breaktrough DJ 2008" where Hernán Cattáneo voted him.
In addition to this, as a supporter DJ, he warmed up the audience before Sasha's, Digweed's, Junkie XL's, Jimmy Van M's and Hernán Cattáneo's sessions. Besides, he shared big festivals like "Southfest" with artists like LCD Soundsystem, Ladytron or MSTRKRFT and played several times in "Moonpar". Now Deep Mariano is about to release his first artist album "Toolbox", which will reflect the influences of almost a decade of career.
Vector Lovers returns after a well earned break with this brilliantly produced release. Vector Lovers AKA Martin Wheeler, well known for his futuristic innovation, is the subject of 2 excellent remixes and 2 remasters of some of his best electronic tracks. The high quality audio boundaries of Soma are pushed forward once again with the outstanding opening 2 tracks, complimented perfectly by an Andreas Henneberg remix of Genevieve, and a Marquez Ill remix of Melodies and Memory.
The 2010 remaster of Melodies and Memory opens the release, the dreamy synths and solid drums allowing pads to build around them creating a unique ambience for the listener. A huge, slow-moving bass line allows the percussion to advance intricately, as the character flooded vocals fill the track. The track title seems so fitting, the track almost appearing as a memory in the mind of Martin’s fans.

Due to the success and acclaim he’s received for his productions, Tony recently formed Intellectual Mastering; a company which helps artists with, what is arguably the most important finishing touch to any track, the mastering. Tony’s new venture has quickly gained clientele from record labels and artists in multiple genres including House, Tech, Progressive and Hip-Hop.
04. Reference - Another Place (Detroit Nu.Wav EP) [Planet E Communications | PLE65333-1]
From the forthcoming Detroit Nu.Wav 12" sampler.
Carl Craig's imperious Planet E label drop this timely twelve which demonstrates that the Detroit imprint has reached the 20 year mark by ensuring the lesser celebrated artists are featured alongside the more established techno artists. It's also further compelling evidence of the inherent brilliance of Oliverwho Factory, a duo who are finally receiving the plaudits they deserve after several years bubbling under. Their contribution to this release, "Jealousy" stands apart amidst three other accomplished productions from Reference, Monty Luke and newcomer Ezana Harris. Obviously some credit must go to Carl Craig as he performs knob twiddling duties, but the track contains enough sweat inducing dancefloor potency to truly shine - if you can picture the best qualities of arch electro house hype merchants Spektrum and apply them to a thickly exhilarating Detroit house template then you'll have an idea of how good this track is.
Reference consists of the Detroit-based artists Luke Hess & Brian Kage. The group was created for the expression of underground music and dance culture. Hess & Kage have come together to create music in it’s truest form; experimentation, soul, sweat, live instrumentation, and organic sounds all welded together to form deep and timeless music.
Reference consists of the Detroit-based artists Luke Hess & Brian Kage. The group was created for the expression of underground music and dance culture. Luke Hess is a name synonymous with a new wave of ‘Detroit techno’ producers, but his roots go deeper than that. His continued hard work as a musician and his talent as a DJ has allowed him to release music on some of the most respected labels and play some of the most prestigious clubs in the world. Brian Kage is the founder of the record label Beretta Music. Along with a countless number of successful releases, Brian’s experience as a producer, DJ, and label-head has helped shape and catapult the careers of some of today’s brightest and best artists in the dance music community.
Like any pure artistic or avant-garde entity, they have no concern for following trends. Hess & Kage have come together to create music in it’s truest form; experimentation, soul, sweat, live instrumentation, and organic sounds all welded together to form deep and timeless music. The main concern of Reference is to stand diligently behind the foundation of underground culture and against commercialism that longs to destroy the freedom of our senses.
Microtrauma’s second release with Traum shows them at their best... they have taken a break to write this timeless "mini album" for Traum. The release kicks off with "Circulate", a piece of epic melodic techno that works in a highly artistic fashion. A skilful composition with lots of musical changes and last but not least a breathtaking arrangement!
Changing perspectives from melodic lush to forceful emotional outbreaks, its constant "up and down" makes this a rollercoaster of a track. And if you would want to use the word "circulate" itself, you may as well describe the track in its peak as an "centrifugal emotional force"!
"Outcry" gives us a break... and yes we deserve it... contemplating more on the the beat side of things, this track unfolds a story of mighty big basslines, trippy beat programming and delays that sweep over their landscape. Melodic sounds are sparse and go as quick as they come providing the track with a matrix in your head. So the track keeps the clubby tool perspective with the exception of a break towards the end when the track dives into sounds that is very visual, could be a birds perspective of the grand canyon. This is a wonderful and powerful track that could end as a soundtrack for a Wim Wender movie.
It is no surprise Max Cooper choose "Circulate" and reworked it in a played fashion rather then deconstructing it, because as he put it in his own words, the original is "perfect" as it is. Enjoy his flow of beats and drama evolving later in the track.
In the fashion of super slack down tempo "trip hop" meets electronica, you would not have expected Microtrauma to have a talent also for this genre. Their „Emilia (Ambient mix)“ is super relaxed dope music for the summer outside... cool as cool can be.
Welcome to the new artist duo Monoid from the Netherlands releasing their first piece of music for Traum. At times carrying the subtle energy of Minilogue the duo possesses the artistic talent to manipulate and write music with a true Traum flavour. Please take your time to dive into their epic „Circulate“ remix.
The UK producer Morris Cowan has written a whole album for Traum Schallplatten’s Zaubernuss label and has delivered several remixes... this is his latest one and again this is a track full of beauty and organic twists. He occupies a spot in the Traum world which lies between works of Philippe Cam and Nathan Fake.

06. Hartmut Kiss - Water Games (Eelke Kleijn Vintage Remix) [Outside The Box Music | Promo]
Rotterdam-based Eelke Kleijn is without any doubt one of the brightest stars on the house firmament these days. After having seen his debut album Naturally Artificial getting a release on Global Underground (and a myriad of chart-topping EPs and remixes), Eelke returns with his second LP Untold Stories in November this year, a spectacular tour de force on which the young producer shows both his incredible skills as his rich taste in the broad field of electronic music.
Besides his work as an artist and label manager for Outside the Box Music (and Survival, Down Under), Eelke also works as a mastering and mixdown engineer for a variety of people and labels.
07. Paperclip People - 4 My Peepz (Dubfire Rework) [Planet E Communications | PLE65334-3]
The next in the PE 20 Remix Series will be Paperclip People's '4 My Peepz', which was originally released in 2005 [PE65281-1], featuring on Richie Hawtin's DE9 Closer To The Edit.
Desolat meets Planet E for another instalment of the 'PE 20 Remix Series'. This time it's Dubfire and Loco Dice who rework these PE classics; the former beefs up "4 My Peeps" while the latter does "Parking Garage Politics".
One of Carl Craig's trillion monikers is Paperclip People and here, the Detroit don serves up the 4 My Peepz EP on his own label Planet E, remixed by two of the biggest names in the game: Dubfire and Loco Dice. Pounding, head strong and dirty techno is unsurprisingly on the menu and Dubfire's rework of "4 My Peepz", despite its almost hip-hop-esque title, sticks firmly to the underground with its heavy kick drums and whirring sirens. On the B-Side "Parking Garage Politics" gets a remix from Loco Dice; minimal and sparse as it is, it's constructed in just the right way as it builds and progresses into a thoroughly hypnotic affair.

08. Wehbba - Human Interface [Tronic Music | TR72]
Rodolfo Wehbbas production career continues in fine form with this latest release for his consistent home, Tronic. Human Interface continues the Brazilian producer/djs penchant for productions with a rousing dancefloor aesthetic. Just as his debut LP and LP remix album had done before Human Interface focuses on real, unashamed hooks as well as razor sharp grooves.
Lead track Human Interface is the antithesis to faceless drum workouts. A stabbing lead tears through the track wonderfully and energetically jabs the track towards an epic breakdown. Rolling bass and gently skipping drums make up the rest of the picture and, bar some wonderfully fluid effects, this track is a lesson in how to get the most out of a few superb ideas.
An alternate Club version of Human Interface occupies the b-side and takes things into slightly heavier territory. The drums are chunky and heavily swinging, the bass is pendulous and the chopped stabs are given a forceful metallic coating that means their less-frequent appearance is equally as effective as in the original.
The organ-led Nature of Time closes the EP with a bright, housey feel. Building from the shaker down, its an increasingly pacey but warm affair that balances brilliant percussive tweaks and bass with engaging top lines.
Family Guy is the first single to be released on Carl Cox’s forthcoming USB album – 'All Roads Lead To The Dancefloor'. Included with the original Deep House Rerub Mix, comes the 'Back To Acid Mix', two mixes from Layo & Bushwacka! and a mix from Jon Rundell. Already gaining critical acclaim we are sure you will enjoy the first single.
