Hey yall,

I have a 7 part question but I'll narrow it down. First, who here has seen and/or loves the britcom SPACED as much as I do? Its on the cable channel trio in NYc lately, and I thanking my lucky stars that I am finally getting to see more than the one episode I fell in love with years back on vaca.
Secondly, who is going to Crobar for Sasha friday of this week? I know there is a separate forum for this, but I'm not trying to arrange anything and such, just curious is all...
Thirdly, I just put a mix a did last night up in the member mixes section, please check it out if you care to, I am happy with it, and maybe you can be too!
And I'll skip to my final point, KUDOS to those who put all the work together and made the radio show happen, I am excited to see how it all goes and what the future holds for our lovely community here (I said our, how nice, I feel a part of something). 1)Spaced was a delight - a funny, flashy, innovative sitcom that demonstrated there was much life left in the oft-maligned genre. With the writers doubling as the central performers the sometime obtuse scripts were brilliantly brought to life. The show also had a unique style, being shot like a modern horror movie with fast zooms, jump cuts and disorientating edits. Fantasy sequences, slow-motion scenes, dreamy flashbacks and widescreen presentation all added texture, and the sum made Spaced the first major sitcom to take place in a recognisable young person's 1990s (the buzzword title reflected this), with nods towards dance culture, casual drug taking, fantasy cults and modern relationships. Though it could be adult in nature such moments were never gratuitous, and the dazzling scripts were jammed with throwaway comic ideas and artful references to cult movies and other media icons. A complex masterpiece that (along with The Royle Family and The League Of Gentlemen) enriched the 1990s schedules and emerged triumphantly as one of the first great TV comedies of the 21st-century.

Well, I took the photo saturday night.. Its "the tunnel" at crobar in NYC. Basically, there is a lounge full of big bamboo stalks (pvc pipe done up very well) and the phazon sound system in there is fuckin LOUD, and on the other end of the tunnel is the main dancefloor, which has a much louder phazon as well... What does this all mean? thanks for liking my photo! Super! :P
