Trust me, junior still had something going on at twilo... more psychadelic than SF but not as hard "housewise".

I do question whether or not a lot of people actually know what I mean by being afraid that the music might actually kill me. I still have not heard anyone play harder than Junior, ever. Maybe in bits, and fucking good (I like it hard sometimes, what can I say?), but never like 4 hours relentlessly beating the shit out of the dancefloor and not getting tired or monotonous... (SOMETIMES) Some of ya'll know what I mean... YOWSA!

But he's like 60 now, and I can't risk 4 hours of vocals or gospel... I can't tolerate that kind of behavior.

I didn't say he lost it after SF closed down and reopened as Twilo, in fact I had some great times there with Junior (as well as many a Friday night with S&D and the others). I just felt that somewhere from the middle of his run there was when he started bringing a bit of the cheese and got way too damn gospel/vocally as you said, but before that his was one hell of a party...even for a straight guy ...can't say the same for after though

You are correct, you did say that... I pretty much agree with all that you are saying... I don't go to gay clubs at all anymore, and back then I only went to Jr after realizing that this so-called "circuit or ROXY" music made me want to kill myself, or more likely kill Whitney Houston and her evil remixers.

true true, but what I'd give to go back to the junior of old, bangin, housy (not of the hardhouse variety though) and one hell of a mindf&*k!
