              It's pretty tough work, but rewarding. I'm awake and working in the dirt before what used to be my normal bed time. Above the wall we built there will be a terrace...gonna put some PAs on there next summer and break in the house with a banger. All MS members are welcome to attend.

                              be very patient while building your house... trust me, your patience will be tested. having said that... congratulations! nothing like having a custom-built house.

                                      Man that is one hell'uva a foundation. Pretty clever way how you guys did this with strip footings.

                                          Thanks guys.

                                          It's in Yosemite National Park, about 4 hours East of San Francisco. Closest store is about 10 miles, couple gas stations a bit further, but any real type of store or town is 45 minutes away by car.

                                          Gonna be filling all those forms up with concrete next week. Looking forward to it, it's gonna be a big step.
