INXEC
Cutting a two metre shadow, with blue eyes and red hair - its not hard to miss the sky scraping figure of Chris Sylvester, aka Inxec. Chris really found his mark in Inxec with Contexterrior records. With five delectable releases on the forward thinking Techno label, Inxec has gained respect for pushing the boundaries and never having to move away from the direction he has wanted for his sound - mostly down to the belief of his label owner Jay Haze, who has gifted the world with Inxex’s pioneering flavour.
Now a frequent dj and live act across the globe, and with a recent residency at Munich’s Harry Klein club, Inxec is becoming a definitive name worldwide. With Upcoming releases on such labels as Cocoon and Stock 5 in the early part of this year, Mr. Sylvester will shine on us all.
BURNSKI
From ‘Autumn Days’ to tides of change, spring 2011 marks a season of renewal for Burnski. This exciting young man from the north-east coast of England has come a long way since he first stepped into the spotlight, and the coming months look set to bring another round of developments.
With one of the biggest selling releases in the history of 2020 Vision, Burnski was hailed as a prodigy upon first surfacing in the mid 00's. Since then, he has cemented a solid reputation as an artist erring on the deeper side of the dancefloor, releasing consistently excellent music on labels such as Poker Flat, Morris/Audio, Trapez, Dessous and Hot Creations – his release ‘Malibu’ for the latter being one of the standout tunes of 2010’s Ibiza season, finding its way into Mixmag’s end of year Top 100 tracks, Soul Clap’s ‘Social Experiment’ compilation for Number 19 Music, and Heidi’s Radio 1 show.
His style is now familiar at some of the most established clubs in Europe such as Fabric in London, Watergate in Berlin and The Loft in Barcelona, as well as further afield on the rooftops of Beirut, beaches of Melbourne and warehouses of New York and San Francisco – these just some of the places to benefit from his deep and groove led style.
RUTHIT
Born in the North East and residing in Manchester, Ruthit learnt his craft with DJing in Ibiza in 2008 hosting intimate parties for a following of friends. These parties quickly gave him the platform to develop his own sound of organic and melodic deep house which attracted the attention of the Zoo Project and earned him a residency in that same year.
With inspirations from a diverse range of influences of Orbital, John Digweed and Underworld to Shonky, Seph and Onur Ozer his productions have been bubbling underground for quite some time. Ruthit gained the foundation of his studio techniques as an audio engineer before focusing his talents towards the dancefloor. In the short space of 2 years Ruthit’s originality and warmth within his productions have shined through which has lead to being signed to Matt Star’s Underground imprint, London based label murmur, Varience, and releasing a solo EP on Four:twenty.
As a unique partnership Ruthit can be regularly seen playing jaw dropping sets with fellow producer and close friend Calor at their monthly residency at T-Pot in Manchester playing roof terraces, gardens and secret locations around the city which has given him the platform to road test his productions to the following he has gained. At only 2 years on, this is only the beginning for one of the brightest underground music talents of the UK.
RUTHIT, CALOR & ADAM ROSS
Anyone who has been to any of tpots parties in Manchester will have witnessed these epic back to back to back sets that have set alight dancefloors, combining their individual sounds into a seamless journey of club focused underground house music. Playing for the first time together in London, get down early to ensure that you don’t miss out on what is surely another set that will be remembered long past the end of this party!
