For the next installment in our brick-work jungle, we are bringing over Franco Bianco to play live in the UK for the first time in over 3 years.
Since his first steps, Franco Bianco has been related to music and since then he has polished a personal sound. Though he is an electronic musician orientated to the dance floor, his work covers from ambient or music to listen at home, to techno music merged with folk, country or tango. That’s why he has been mentioned as the Danny Boyle of electronic music by some European media.
His music took him on worldwide tours (from Australia to Lebanon, through Japan and Egypt), with more than 170 presentations in 27 different countries in the last 4 years. In Europe there have been queues to see his shows and in countries like Cyprus he is a referent of the electronic music scene. His YouTube videos and social networking pages have great amount of visits, and he frequently does interviews for local media of the countries he is visiting. His vinyl records (the last two being sold out) are played by international artists like Argentinean Hernan Cattaneo, French Laurent Garnier or mythical American DJ Danny Tenaglia, among others.
Every year, from November until the end of December, he organizes a South American tour. He has played in Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Dominican Republic and in Argentinean mega festivals like Telecom Personal Fest (2004 edition) as well as the last 3 editions of Creamfields Buenos Aires (2008, 2009 and 2010). Franco Bianco presents "Jorge Drexler Remixes LIVE! Tour" that will take him over 7 European cities during September, introducing the album with danceable versions of the Oscar-winning Uruguayan songwriter.
In this respect, Franco Bianco (half of Benedetti & Bianco alongside Nacho) speaks as follows: "With Nacho, we are totally in love with this project that took us 3 years of intens...e twists and turns, where we got to take to dance Jorge Drexler electronically, along with two artists we admire, such as Jesper Dahlback from Sweden and the Canadian Mike Shannon." Now is the time for touring Europe, but above all, it's time to have fun!
"Jorge Drexler Remixes" is a project born out of permanent concern of its creators to musicalize the dance floor, without complexes or gender distinctions. As you will see, Orthodoxy does not fit in these two South American, but consistency, the intimate harmony with the spirit of Drexler. Franco is the indicated for the task of touring the old continent, to present this record (on Vinyl, Digital and CD format) which will find him very busy during the month of September, in seven different European cities. Ladies and Gentlemen... it's time to dance!

Also on the line up is our very own badboy Oli Forster. He will be playing a special b2b set with Massimo Licari. If you have been down to Basing House over the past few months you might have been lucky enough to witness these two talented dj's in action together.
Completing the line-up is Detail resident & Act Natural co-founder Brad Brown. Keep an eye-out for his Act Natural imprint. They have been releasing some special material including Huxley's Shower Scene EP, which was recently MixMag's tune of the month. The third release from Act Natural Records, Micha Klang's 'When We Dance' E.P, with a Kevin Griffiths remix is out now on beatport.
As usual, the sound will be provided by Funktion One ;-).
