I think its hilarious, he entered into a thread where he had absolutely nothing worth contributing, so in order to disrupt it he suggested that himself and some other members indulge in cock stroking. But that seems to be the way the politics forum has gone. In the old days we had some good discussions here. Sure we disagreed but we never had to resort to name calling (except for Jenks maybe). Then after Toasty & Miro vanished we where left with res0 who failed to convince anyone of his argument so he resorted to silly pictures and then name calling. I'm just joining in with the newer direction the forum has taken.

99% of the time no, and apologize if I was being brash. 9/11 stings, I'll be the first to admit that.

Its probably less than you would think. The question is, why do you think it would take thousands?

To provide weight to your assumption, one would have to assume you knew the exact inner workings of at least 8 of the Security Agencies working on behalf of your Govt. This I'm afraid, you do not have.

You didn't understand my original question in which I was asking if 9/11 was an inside job plotted by American's government or military or FBI, how would that have been kept a secret. In order for all of that to be staged the way conspiracy theorists suggest, IE controlled demolitions, fake tapes from the airplanes, requesting the military not shoot down the planes, covering up evidence of cameras at the pentagon and on and on and on. For all of that to be orchestrated and for it to be kept a secret, I was suggesting that it would take 1,000's of people, and I was suggesting that you could not keep it from leaking.

With regard to what really happened that day I am not suggesting it took more than 100 people at all.

I understood the question. My point is you think covert ops take thousands of people to organize. Unfortunately for you, history would suggest otherwise. Donald Rumsfeld controlled the Pentagon and everyone in it. Cheney the State & Justice Dept and numerous other hawks from the cold war era controlled (and still do) the various military and classified ops. Therefore, it seems plausible that orders carried out in the name of national security could easily have been carried out by a handful of people, as orders do indeed trickle down and those not carrying them out are replaced immediately with people who do. I find the naivety towards your own Govts operations kind of scary.
Do you believe the Bush administration went to war based on lies? If so, surely you can appreciate how little it took for them, in terms of personnel at decision making level, to carry out that "little" operation!

"You just empowered what I said. Sure, you have a certain belief about what happened and everybody else is foolish. That's fair enough. One thing you can't refute is the psychology I spoke of. Which is based on pure fact, something your 'common sense' approach to life would surely understand.

If you can argue the issue without sounding like a pumped up 'America Fuck Yeah' airhead, then go ahead. I'd doubt very much you can. You claim to know, without any shadow of a doubt what happened. People on the other side of the fence do not. That's why questions are asked. Nobody is denying planes flew into the building. The motives, the precise elements of the operation carried out and the people involved are under scrutiny. If you say you use common sense then use it. Denial is the only emotion on show here, nothing to the contrary. I'm sure your common sense must be itching at the sight of WTC7 free falling to the ground or for the first time in human history a structure defying the very physics that helped it stand upright in the first place?

One quick choice, which is it? Still no answer by resonator on this either!!

I'm wondering why if thats the case then zero evidence has come up of this actually occurring. Note even the Pentagon Papers were leaked way back when, when they was shady business going on. The bigger question is really why would people who dedicate their life to serving their country really be motivated to do something so wrong against the country they've spent so much time apparently trying to make better? It isn't rational.
