Rene Breitbarth - Little White Earbuds podcast #96 - Super thick grooving german deep house, without all the fluffery of american house music. His label Deep Data is a favorite of mine, and this podcast captures everything I love about that label.

Gui Boratto XLR8R podcast - Let's not beat around the fucking bush here, this is borderline trance (it's trance), you can call it "german techno" all day long, but it's pretty close to trance to me (it's trance). There's a fine line between these Cocoon guys and straight up trance music, and whatever line they're walking, occasionally someone gets it right, and Gui did with this mix. I don't really like most of Gui's music, and honestly not even a huge fan of Cocoon (because of the epic trance factor) but whether I was really tired of all this fucking slow disco garbage, or tired of this pop house shit, or everybody and their brother playing the most generic tech house i've ever heard...i dunno, this mix clicked with me a few weeks ago and i've listened to it several times and it's still kicking my roll back in from 1998.

Billy Dalessandro, live pa @ Piknic, Montreal - Billy is my boy. This set is from last weekend, it's on soundcloud. He mic'd the crowd, it's got a cool "like i was there" feel to it, not to mention it's a suuuuuuuper nasty live techno pa. Guy has been hitting his stride for a couple of years now, and showing no signs of stopping. Straight up filth. Go Billy!
