Louisa Page and Dean Muhsin, otherwise known as Bearweasel for our production work. We both have a history of working in dance music, with both us working in music PR as well as Dean's 15 history as an A&R and DJ, not to mention a life long passion for electronic music. We began producing together as Bearweasel in September 2007 when we delivered a remix for Remute's "Schlund" track to our friends at Perc Trax. We followed this with "The Rouen EP" for Supernature, Audiofly's imprint. We've kept a rule of releasing music for our friends, so are now working with Supernature, Tsuba, murmur, Viva, 8-Bit and Bloop. Our Eps for all of the aforementioned (with the exception of Steve Lawler's Viva, who will be releasing our ep in 2009) have been released to support from many people we admire. Steve Bug, Akufen, Serafin, K-Soul, D'Julz, Motorcitysoul, 2000AndOne, Jimpster, Audiofly, Steve Lawler, Trickski, Sebo K, Lauhaus, Luke Solomon and Peace Division are just a handful of the DJs who have kindly supported our work and we hope that continues. While we haven't aimed at a "style", Bearweasel's music is rooted in house and techno in their formative years, dub and whatever takes our fancy! Outside of original productions we've remixed for Viva, Yellow Tail, Tsuba, Perc Trax and Hairy Claw while in clubs Dean continues to DJ under his own name (pls check out his myspace) and a Bearweasel live set is being planned for late 2009.
