The wildly successful and popular night dedicated to the passionate fans techno is back for the seventh installment of the Rough and Tumble presented by Hidden Recordings featuring Deepak Sharma, Domingo Cava and special guest Taimur Agha of BLK|MARKET MEMBERSHIP fame. Past attendees know to bring a care-free attitude and plenty o...f energy to last for the long haul. The madness begins shortly after midnight and we'll thump it well into the wee hours on the Underground's booming system.
Special guest for the night is Taimur Agha, a long-time friend and strong supporter of Hidden Recordings. He's been a friend of Deepak's for nearly a decade, and we're thrilled to have him join us to play a special peak hour set alongside Deepak. Taimur is no stranger to any of us as we have all surely ended up at one of his finely curated BLK|MARKET MEMBERSHIP events. He's also been busy travelling as a DJ has added venues such as Fabric in London to his resume. When he's not gigging or throwing marathon parties, you'll find him selecting the records we all enjoy weekly from Halcyon in Brooklyn, where you can also find him broadcasting his podcast, named The Bandwagon.
Listen to his mix and read his interview on the Fabric blog:
Few have had a more complete Summer than Deepak Sharma. The humble, unassuming label head of Hidden Recordings has seen his stock soar with hit records from his in-demand imprint, invited and booked at one of the world's largest festivals, and recognition from today's biggest names in techno for an iconic label's mix compilation.
First, Deepak represented Hidden Recordings at the Electric Zoo Festival on Day three at the Sunday School Grove tent along with Ida Engberg, Umek, Guy Gerber, Chris Liebing, Guy Boratto, Nicolas Jaar, Dubfire and Richie Hawtin - check the listing here:

Second, Seth Troxler includes Deepak Sharma + Dieter Krause "Wolkenreise" (DJ Qu Remix) off Hidden Recordings for his new The Lab03 Mix compilation. Released in October by London house label, NRK. Additional artists featured are Chaim, Dinky, Superpitcher, Daze Maxim and Masamenos. Check the full tracklist here:
Lastly, our highly anticipated double vinyl from young Marseille duo, M.A.D.A. + Plankton featuring remixes from Sasha Carassi, Mike Wall, Michael Schwarz, Felix Bernhardt, Alejandro Trebor and Deepak Sharma + Dieter Krause has seen massive support and skyrocketed through the charts. It didn't take long for this release to make it's mark, as both vinyls are currently in the Top 10 Techno Bestseller Chart, reaching both #1 and #2. Other labels in the Top 10 include Cocoon, Drumcode and Stroboscopic Artefacts:
