great book. as is animal farm.


best book ever though (in my opinion) is the catcher in the rye

It's a pretty good book. Right now I'm reading One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

that was made into a good movie too.....starring jack nicholson....good shit

I used to like 1984, but not nearly as much as I used to. On re-reading it, the characters felt too two-dimensional, as if they were artificial extensions of Orwell's ideas, creating a feeling of a narrative manifesto.

It is without a doubt a portrait of america, if you consider animal farm the portrait of the old soviet union....Another Orwell Classic
