KAZELL, who really needs no introduction and is just enough to mention some of his greatest releases featured on compilations from icons like Sander Kleinenberg and Nick Warren, by labels including British Global Underground and Lost, only to name a few, is back in Progrezo Records with his aclaimed CHATTER track which has been remixed by three of our ace producers DANIEL MEHES, ERPHUN and LOW MANUEL & POUL LUIS.
Is important to highlight Kazell' trajectory, recently branched out into sound design. In 2007 he was enlisted by the legendary film composer Harry Gregson Williams to add his own unique twist to the sound of the Disney blockbuster "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," due out Summer 2008. After a few years of playing up and down the East Coast, Kazell relocated to Los Angeles.
Within months of heading west Kazell had secured residencies at the largest clubs and parties on the West Coast, including Spundae - L.A., Giant, and Avalon. Shortly thereafter Liquified followed suit moving its headquarters to Los Angeles. Kazell was immediately re-enlisted as its resident DJ for all events, including the now legendary Sasha & Digweed Liquified parties at the Mayan Theater. In fact, Kazell soon became the only LA based DJ that heavy-hitters like Sander Kleinenberg, Deep Dish, and John Digweed would request to play alongside while in the city.
Kazell is a talented DJ and producer who has gained a world army of followers by his strictly music selection and productions. A Thinking-forward musician with an unstoppable pace !!
With stunning productions on leading record labels around the world and sharing releases with important figures within the electronic music industry, DANIEL MEHES shows his pure and finest techno side, using some of the original instruments in addition to his own composition, DANIEL delivers a noisy version of modern techno beats for peak-time DJ sets like Hawtin style.
Next on the list we are pleased to re-launch the massive remix produced by Los Angeles based ERPHUN, already charted and hard promoted by John Digweed among a long list of world top Djs. With a unnecessary introduction but just remembering some of his music goals, ERPHUN has been featured in massive imprints including Excentric Muzik, UMEKs 1605, Stephan Bodzins imprint, Herzblut, Alan Fitzpatricks label 8 Sided Dice, Sleaze UK, Audio Therapy and more recently to John Digweeds Bedrock Records. His name is now instantly recognizable among the tech-house, minimal, and techno world of spinning producers who globe trot his compositions to be dropped on every conceivable audience.
Last on the list we have the Italian duo LOW MANUEL & POUL LUIS, already featured in Progrezo with massive support, both artists have added enough experience and years of dedication, to shows out their potential as Dj and producers. Their remix delivers a sick minimal rhythm, using some original instruments in addition to their twisted elements, creating a solid version full in tension and crisp production. A quite music selection for memorable DJ sets from minimal to high tech beats!! highly recommended.
