you never should complain about free music BUT i simply cannot understand why promoters djs etc dont share HQ sets only - bandwith, storage cant be the reason these times...

"To get you in the mood for my next gig ( Fabric 15th Oct) here`s a live recording of me at Circus in Montreal - Enjoy" [John Digweed]
In what will be his last and only visit to Farringdon for 2011 - John Digweed is returning to his familiar Room One setting on the 15th of October, a space that’s more than compatible with his bass shifting sets. It’s a particularly special time for Digweed, considering that this year has seen the 100th release on his Bedrock label, with the imprint achieving longevity through the noble attributes such as substance, a heads down attitude and a firm belief in the music he plays.
From starting to DJ in clubs at the age of 16 to releasing the first ever commercial mix CD with Sasha, his Kiss 100 show and the centenary release from Bedrock, what Digweed really means to electronic music world is personified by his fan base. Loyal and passionate and on a global scale, you can always count on a Bedrock release to be hotly anticipated and a party he plays at to be full to the brim. You can also always rely on the Bedrock forum to provide flourishes of thank-yous for Digweed never failing to deliver his own special alchemy at each and every gig.
We have a sample of that very magic right here on the fabric blog, it’s encapsulated right here in this promo mix…

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
This is a recording of the September Montreal date, video to prove: Bestia into Envision, not to mention I was there and these are indeed the tunes played that night...
Listening to the mix, not quite used to the first 19 mins, but takes off with Envision. I quite like the vocal on Envision actually.

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
really curious on what Sasha & Digweed will deliver on a live set,
according to panorama bar and this one, weird or wicked, both ?!.
in the past, i've always preferred digweeds sets to sasha, this year has flipped that. sasha is playing some stella stuff, i'm not sure i like the way digweed is going though he still plays some belters. for example, have you heard his mix of 'murf'? i mean ...what the? why's he even touching such a track?
