FACE OCT
After two years of throwing parties sound tracked by the leading lights of the underground house and techno scene, Face turns two years old in October. They’ve already achieved so much, but this month sees them push on with no less than five great parties.
The first is a Label Showcase with French crew Lola Ed coming over with house masters Dan Ghenacia and Jef K in tow. Then it’s another showcase event, this time offering up dubstep, d&b and bass alongside the usual house and tech on October 8th (think Benga, Frenchy, Adam Shelton and many more). The Birthday party itself is on October 15th and Face favorite Launhaus is the guest, whilst October 29th is the date for another label showcase. This time it’s the turn of hotter than hot Hot Creations and its boss Lee Foss along with Russ Yallop, Richie Ahmed, Rob James and residents to do their sexy disco tinged thing.

As well as that he continues to spin at DC: 10 in Ibiza all summer, and is working more and more on his own productions for labels like Crosstown Rebels. Face 2nd Birthday Party
Danny Daze ,Lauhaus + Face Residents
& Annie Mac Presents with Annie Mac & Friends
It’s the big one. After two years of weekly parties that have included not only the smartest DJs and labels of the day, but tons of imported sand, collaborations with other leading promotions like Cream and some unforgettable memories, Face is throwing another birthday bash, this time in association with Annie Mac and her Presents brand.
Headlining is one of 2011's breakthrough stars, Danny Daze, who's Hot Creations release has owned sexy dance floors the world over since the Miami resident unleashed it earlier in the year. He combines snaking baselines with disco sounds, house vocals and it makes for an infectious brew. Meanwhile, Dutch tech house star, 100% Pure and Remote Area producer Lauhaus is one of the leading names in the Amsterdam elite. His releases for those labels fuse plenty of grooves with infectious percussion and the sort of sampling that gets dancefloors going and keeps them moving all night long.
This event will also see legendary new bass music champion Annie Mac arrive with a merry band of electro, d&b and dub step friends all bringing their own bags of raw urban sounds. It's a tour which travels all over the UK and more, so is likely to cause a riot at The Rainbow.
Having grown from modest bust auspicious beginnings to become one of the foremost parties in the country, this party’s reputation amongst press and party people alike is well deserved. Now taking in three rooms each week, it’s rightly the Face every one wants to be seen with.
Face present– Label showcase… Hot Creations
29th Oct
Lee Foss, Russ Yallop, Richie Ahmed, Rob James
One of the hottest labels out there coupled with some of the most in-demand DJs of the day, this third label showcase is sure to be the steamiest of the lot.
Lee Foss and Jamie Jones’ label, Hot Creations, has been at the forefront of a new musical movement. No one had put slow, sexy, disco infused, 80s slanted house with creamy r&b vocals ad expect it to work before – but it does. The label’s has released some of the biggest tracks of recent years, often from Foss who plays tonight as he does at WMC, in Ibiza, Sonar, everywhere on a regular basis.
His crew tonight includes Russ Yallop, Richie Ahmed and Rob James, all of whom play under the HC banner in all the same places as the boss, contributing just as many tunes to the arsenal, too. Dance music never sounded as honest, emotional and fun as it does in the hands of these guys….
