Looking for an old Sasha set

Starts with Jody Watley "Im The One" (Dead Zone Mix) it's from 1993, could be a recording from Chuff Chuff, used to have the tape but lost it,

    heres another....

from 1994, starts with Mellow Mellow "I Cant Stop" (Parrot trance mix) then Utah Saints "What Can You Do For Me" (Morales Mix) then Delta Lady "Anything You Want"

If anyones got these, i've got loads to trade, cheers

^^^lol, i used to have so many Sasha tapes, man how i wish i still had them, some of the mixes were fucking phenomenol, but i kinda lost interest around 98-2000 and lent most of them out or gave them away and now i really regret it, i have managed to find a load in the meantime from car boot sales, second hand shops and ebay, plus ive found a few on slsk and DC++, but these 2 sets are the ones i really miss the most, the one that starts with the Mellow Mellow track is probably my favorite Sasha set of all time, absolute masterpiece.

well the style has certainly changed but his music still has that "sasha" feel, it's unique and hard to describe, but that's one of the things that makes him so special imo.

                i hear ya

unfortunatly for me, electronic music, let alone the idea of a dj, was really foreign... so the first time i heard a dj spinning house music (ty tek @ bishops castle in like.. 96 ot 97?) i was enthralled..

problem with that being that i missed out on a large chunk of time :-\ so i dontthink ive heard much sasha older than maybe one set from 96 or 97... the set that really got me in to sasha was the new years 98/99 @ alexandria set... pretty much the set that made my mind look at djing (especially sasha's) as a work of art more than just throwing records on

not sure where im going with this, but uhg yea..

what early sasha sets that are somewhat available do you recommend? (lke.. maybe pick 2 of them)

Yeah, that was a classic set and certainly inspired me at the time also, as for older sets, try his first Essential mix from 1994, its pretty well availiable on Soulseek and is a real masterpiece, or for some real vintage Sasha try Sasha @ G-Spot, Leeds - 1992, great stuff

I've been digging out his May'95 EM and July'96 Amnesia sets lately. Plus Fabric'00 still gets a regular airing .

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

"This essential mix was recorded live @ Amnesia, Ibiza. The Club night was \'Cream V\'s Up Yer Ronson\'. As usual an excellent mix from Sasha.
I think the first track should actually be called \"Stef Pako & Frederick - Seaside Atmosphere\" as this is the same as on expiditions (northern exposure album).
The track labelled as \"Tomorrow - \"Scared\" (white label)\" should infact be \"Slacker - Scared (Of Tomorrow)\" (unsure which mix)."
