Well, of course, it's for larf-sake. You can clearly see who invested money in it and who didn't, top names disappeared. Half of those 100 aren't even DJ to begin with

I actually have no problem with Guetta being no.1 ... he runs a club night, has DJ'd for ages and makes his own music. The poll has long since stopped being about the best DJ.

It's the randoms in there that I've never heard of that I can't get to grips with : surely the DJ Mag team will struggle to get a credible/readable issue out of this for the people who actually buy the magazine !

Awkward Moment: Ranking in the Top 100 of a DJ poll when I've never touched a CDJ in my life.

It's a funny ole thing, the Daft Punk entry into the Top 100 poll. It's almost as if we, and you the voter, have seen them DJ this year. In some kind of parallel universe, we have all been to one of their gigs, left brain-washed into thinking they do actually DJ on a regular basis, wowing us with their electronic wizardry and reputation. And then in a Men In Black-esque moment, we've had our memories wiped clean. Weird.
