It's a classic that will never be forgotten... Rabbit In The Moon - Out of Body Experience. Holy crap! If Euphoria and Seratonin ever had a kid. They would call it that. Ha ha! How scrumptulescent!
Listening to this always puts a smile on my face and a bounce in my step
And a must when I used to have comedowns from acid
Northern Exposure 1 and 2

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
Dont get me wrong, I love GU009 disc 1-IMO its the best cd i have. But NE1 is the best journey cd I have, its much more chill out than GU009(even though its not a chill out if that makes sense?!)
Funny, I put on NE2:East just 15 mins ago then come across this...
Both NE1 and NE2 are permanently glued to the top spot in my favourite mixes...
Whoever said Lisle's OS2 was along the same lines was spot on. Some people don't seem to like it, but I reckon it'll stand the test of time and people will appreciate it more. Plus maximum respect to Lisle as it was mixed live.
One of the best CD's I downloaded from Audio Galaxy and went to the shop a day after to get it. I still remember how my fingers went wet when I saw that there were three releases of this series already...those CD's changed my music taste a lot. Eternal thanks to S&D for starting something good on my side. I guess without the Northern Exposure Series and earlier GU's I wouldn't post on this site today.
I have been listening to thsi double disc set at work today, and its unbelievable, possibly the greatest 2-disc set ever? When i want to bang it out with some tunage I put on GU009,but when I want to be taken on a journey I put this in the cd player and sit back.Awesome tracks, mixing and programming. It makes me sad that I'll probably never hear a cd that reaches these heights again.
Please post your appreciation of this cd
In the states, it was only north ... I finally got to hear south, though. I know a TON of people that love S&D, but only one that had the foresight to buy the import when it was released.

Oh, I know totally know what you mean.
Northern Exposure is made for pure listening. You sit down, pop in the CD and you lose yourself. Thats how it's a trip.
GU009 CD1 is more loungey, I guess. It's a trip, an emotional one too (what Sasha cd isn't, afterall?) but it gets you groovin too. Very bumpy, head-boppin, chilled house music. I wish Sasha still spun that kind of house
Wavespeach on South is a classic SICK HARD track, mamma like "it flows burning widely flowing flume flower...???? lol" and the chick's voice sampled... "ah. oh! oh!"
Junior dropped that track all the time at like 9 am

I find NE1 a little dated now (some of the vocals..), but there's a lot of ridiculously good tracks on there, and the whole Raincry/OOBE bit is sublime.
damn i need to get the import of Northern Exposure 1.mine only came with 1 cd
They released Northern Exposure as 2 different CD's in North America. I think they were called NE: East Coast Edition & NE: West Cost Edition.
Why didn't they just released it as a 2CD set like the imports?
