If nothing else Sasha is responsible for a glut of Sasha threads on this site! :P
I think it's great what he's doing, going out and pushing the edge rather than staying is the same rut forever. I thought Involver brilliant and from what I understand Sasha has a full time staff working on getting indivdual elements of tracks for his library. This opens an ocean of possibilities that simply is not there when mixing vinyls. (not to diminish the 2 turntable paradigm, which is the foundation of this whole culture)
My only concern is that these AJs (Ableton Jockeys) do live mixing as opposed to playing a single wave file and dancing around in the booth as was reported in another thread last week. That is unacceptable, you might as well send a cd and a cardboard cutout to the club while you stay home drinking scotch.
PS- Zabelia's Ableton guest mix was excellent, IMHO one of the better sets I've heard from him
