A LITTLE ABOUT LONESTAR :

On February 27, 2004, John Digweed of Radio One introduced the progressive world to the sounds of Lonestar, and in particular their track New Kicks. The incredible sound of New Kicks ignited progressive DJ?s around the world. In pursuit of finding more Lonestar tracks, prog DJ?s found that Derek Howell and Joshua Michael, the boys behind Lonestar, had much to offer. Based in Houston, both are regulars on the internet?s Proton Radio. Derek Howell has worked solo, as well as with other artists, such as Peter Martin, with whom he formed Pinkbox Special. Being the obsessive freak that I am, I managed to track down the duo and ask them a few questions.

i wish i still lived in houston.

i saw randall jones and hernan at the gatsby last year and even though it is a small place (the dance floor even tinier), the tunes sounded really good on the dance floor. have fun!

** and just so you know, you should probably let people know that it is in houston. i dn't see that mentioned anywhere. :o
