    Going to NYC, advice

I am going to couple of Greathful Dead shows (they are now called Further) and I was wondering if some locals can give me some adivce on some good spots that might have some house music playing. I will be there next week (the 8th 9th, and 10th). I used to live there for a while, but never really got a feel for the scene... i've been to Pacha once, Boris was playing and that wasn't all that good..

    Thanks in advance

I don't know where to go for house, I'm sure others will though... but check out this place if you have time.

It was fun while it lasted...

They are very good! I went to two shows in LA and two shows in Monterey last month.. good times! I mean.. the way they transition from song to song is amazing. I friend of mine is a huge fan of theirs(what is known as a dead head), and last year I managed to get him out to a Digweed show in SF and he loved it, and after that he kept telling me that it is very much like a dead show,, and i was like wtf man, that doesn't make any sense, but then I went to one show and I've been hooked since. Great lyrics too..

here is a short vid I made from the show in Monterey. Can't wait for madison square garden

Nice one! Glad you stopped in and heard some quality music. I've been there once on a nondescript night and had a great time. Luke Fair has played there a few times. If you are interested check out the P&R section this board and you'll find the recordings.

Diggers (District 36), Michael Mayer (Sunday Best) and Josh Wink (The Bunker) look to have layed some decent places:

For decent burgers check out this little baby:

New York has burgers to suit every taste, says Tom Byng, whether you want to blow the budget on a white truffle special, or keep things classic with bacon or cheese

This place is great too for lunch:

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
