Tulipa Recordings owner Summer (Brendon Collins) releases the long-awaited Phantom / Red Giant. The tracks have been causing commotion in the underground for the past year. Phantom in particular has made a strong impact from the United States, down to South America, across Europe and into Asia. Summer is proud to present these tracks on his own imprint.
Phantom is a spellbinding groover, embodying eerie keys, gargantuan piano strikes, and a growling bassline. Phantom dives into the sometimes forgotten realms of paranormal-esque techno and house. The track delivers both unique and memorable moments.
Red Giant glows with energy. Glassy percussion and haunting pianos drive Red Giant into the dark pools of emergent listlessness. It rises toward a stratospheric peak, reaches its astonishing crescendo, and finally soars back down into the abyss below.
T-Lectual delivers his Scams and Scandals remix. His spooky and techy version of Phantom showcases his musical prowess. T-Lectual has taken the track and bent it to his own liking. The Scams and Scandals remix grinds and snaps; crunches and thumps; pulsates and burns.
Summer (Brendon Collins) demonstrates his talents as a musical craftsman. He is determined to compose tracks that are of equal energy, sophistication, and inspiration... and sometimes he even manages to formulate tunes that are enigmatic.
